Performance
No matter which Canyon trim you choose, you'll get serious capability from the standard 2.7-liter turbocharged engine that generates 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. When properly equipped, the Canyon can tow up to 7,700 pounds, enough for a sizable boat or camping trailer. An integrated trailer brake controller, hitch guidance with hitch view, and an in-vehicle trailering app make towing easier. The AT4 and AT4X models are ready to tackle tough terrain when the pavement ends. With standard four-wheel drive, an off-road suspension with up to three inches of extra lift, electronic locking front and rear differentials, and all-terrain tires, these models can take you almost anywhere. A two-speed Autotrac transfer case and selectable drive modes, including Baja mode, provide optimum traction and control.
Technology
The 2025 Canyon offers no shortage of innovative tech to keep you connected, entertained, and in command. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto provide seamless smartphone integration. Available Google built-in connected services include remote vehicle commands, a Wi-Fi hotspot, live traffic and weather updates, and more. The myGMC mobile app lets you remotely start/stop the engine, lock/unlock the doors, and even create a vehicle profile that remembers your preferences. Up to 10 available camera views, including HD Surround Vision and waterproof underbody cameras on AT4X, provide added confidence when parking, trailering, or navigating off-road obstacles. The Denali has a 6.3-inch head-up display and eight-inch digital driver information center to keep key info like speed, navigation, and safety alerts in your line of sight.
